Launch of OCD & Anxiety Disorders Week - Tai Chi & Brunch
Sunday 3rd August, 11.00 am – 2.00 pm
Meet at the Abbotsford Convent Grounds for an introductory session of basic Tai Chi moves with David, a founding member and friend of the Foundation, followed by Brunch at the Convent Bakery.
Venue: Meet at 11.00am at the Heritage Gardens area, Abbotsford Convent, 1 St Heliers Street, Abbotsford.
Cost: Tai Chi is a free event; Brunch will be at each individual's own expense.

Community Education Seminar - Anxiety Disorders: Current Ideas in Treatment, Self-Help & Recovery
Saturday 9th August, 1.00pm - 5.00pm
Venue: Clarion Hotel, 326-330 Canterbury Road, Forest Hill (Corner Canterbury & Springvale Roads)
The seminar program includes presentations about: compulsive buying, hoarding, STOP Therapy for OCD, Social Anxiety Disorder, and Mindfulness for Anxiety and Depression.
Guest Speakers: Professor Mike Kyrios, Clinical Psychologist/Academic, Swinburne University; Chris Mogan, Ph.D., Clinical Psychologist, The Melbourne Clinic; Terry Bowles, Ph.D, Psychologist/Academic, Australian Catholic University; Jonathan Burt, Psychologist, Peninsula Health.
